Payments Intelligence
Connect payment data to Athia for answers, investigations, reports, monitoring, and controlled experiments.
On this page
Payments Intelligence is DEUNA's intelligence layer for payment operations. Athia connects data from processors, acquirers, orders, settlements, disputes, and internal systems so teams can understand performance, investigate changes, and turn evidence into governed action.

What Payments Intelligence includes#
These labels match the public product offering. The detailed Athia guides use the same underlying capabilities and explain their data, workflow, and governance requirements.
Two ways to enable it#
| Starting point | Connection | Execution boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Your existing payment infrastructure | Connect processor reports, warehouse data, files, APIs, and supported provider sources. | Athia returns intelligence and approved decision outputs; your stack remains responsible for execution unless another integration is enabled. |
| DEUNA Payments Infrastructure | Use the payment and outcome data already produced through DEUNA, then add any external sources required for the analysis. | Supported decisions can execute inside the DEUNA payment flow, subject to account configuration and guardrails. |
Start with Integrating Athia to choose the data path. Use Athia with DEUNA Orchestration when a decision must run in the transaction path.
From data to action#
Prepare the implementation#
- Identify the business questions, KPIs, and ownership model.
- Inventory the processors, acquirers, warehouses, files, and internal systems that hold the required business context.
- Align those concepts with Athia Data Guidance during enablement.
- Define roles, data boundaries, alert recipients, approval requirements, and permitted actions.
- Validate data completeness before relying on benchmarks, recommendations, or experiments.
- Start with an observed baseline, then promote changes only after the agreed evidence gates pass.
Trust and operational boundaries#
Payments Intelligence does not expand the permissions attached to a source connection. Access, action authority, retention, model behavior, and environment boundaries remain account- and agreement-specific. See Data governance for Payments Intelligence before connecting production data.
