Fintoc via Direct API

Overview

Fintoc is a Latin American instant payment method (Payment Initiation / Account-to-Account) that allows users to pay directly from their bank account. DEUNA integrates Fintoc using a redirect model: after initiating the purchase via the DEUNA API, the user is redirected to a Fintoc-hosted page to log in to their bank and authenticate the payment, then returned to your site.

Requirements:

• Available in Chile
• Currency: CLP (Chile)
• The user must have an active account with a bank supported by Fintoc

Purchase v2

V2 purchases perform the order creation and payment initiation in a single endpoint.

The Fintoc purchase process goes as follows:

1. User calls POST v2/merchants/order/purchase with the order information.
2. DEUNA creates the order and initiates the Fintoc transaction.
3. DEUNA returns a redirect URL in the response.
4. You redirect the user to that URL to complete bank login and authentication on the Fintoc page.
5. After authentication, Fintoc redirects the user back to your site.
6. DEUNA listens to the Fintoc notification (webhook) to confirm the final payment status.

Integrate Fintoc by API

1. Make a Fintoc purchase

Make a request to the V2 Purchase endpoint.

To make a Fintoc purchase with DEUNA, the V2 payload must contain:

• The order data
• Callback URLs to redirect the user after payment
• Optionally, the customer's email or tax ID to pre-fill the Fintoc screen

📘 All amounts must be expressed in cents. Example: CLP 10.50 = 1050

2. Redirect the user

After the purchase is initiated, the API responds with a redirect URL in the next_action node.

1. Take the URL
2. Redirect the user to that URL.
3. The user completes authentication on the Fintoc page:
   • Selects their bank
   • Logs in with their online banking credentials
   • Completes MFA/contact authorization if required by their bank
   • Confirms the payment
4. After authentication, Fintoc redirects the user back to your callback_urls.on_success or callback_urls.on_error.
5. Listen to DEUNA webhooks to confirm the final payment status.
