Getting Started with Fintoc#

This guide explains how to integrate Fintoc with DEUNA.

Fintoc is a bank-based instant payment method (Payment Initiation / Account-to-Account) available in Chile, allowing users to pay directly from their bank account by logging into their online banking through Fintoc's widget. No card data is required.

It is a strong alternative payment method in Latin American e-commerce, offering real-time bank transfers with high security and lower processing costs than cards.

Support opeations:

• Purchase, refunds, partial refunds.

How it Works

Fintoc Checkout Flow

1. User selects Fintoc as the payment method
2. Select their bank and enter their RUT and web portal credentials.
3. Enter the verification code sent to their mobile phone via SMS
4. User confirms the payment
5. Payment is confirmed in real-time via webhook

Key characteristics

• No card input required
• Real-time confirmation
• Strong bank-level authentication (direct login to online banking)
• Available in Chile
• Lower cost than card processing

Integration Steps

Now that the technical requirements are defined, you can begin the integration.

1. Configure the payment processor

Add Fintoc to your Connections in the DEUNA Admin.

Search for Fintoc and enter your business account credentials.

• Name: the merchant name
• Currency: CLP (Chile)
• Secret API Key: the merchant's private key
• Public API Key: the public API key

Then click Connect and confirm Fintoc appears under Active connections.

Testing:

• RUT: 41.579.263-8
• Web portal password: jonsnow
• SMS verification code: 0000
• For a successful test, select the account ending in 6177.
